A Favorite Poem
of Winnie Ines Robbins Sellars

This is a poem Mama taught me years ago.

THE BELL -author unknown
A bell is no bell til you ring it,
A song is no song til you sing it,
And the love in your heart
was not put there to stay.
Love is not love til you give it away.

John Calvin Henon Sellars with Old No. 1

The Clinchfied Special - The most famous little steam engine of railroad history was built August 1882.  It sounded nostalgic episodes of history with its whistle echoing as it puffed through the Appalachian Mountains. Old No. 1 pulled the first food, medicine and rescue workers to the Johnstown, PA flood area May 1889 and the first refugees out.

John Sellars said he worked on this engine more than any other. It is now in a museum in Baltimore.
